CapStar represented the seller of a Class B building located at 6315 Backlick Road in Springfield, Virginia. The building includes roughly 20,326 sf of three-story space and office and retail tenants such as Bank of America. Previous to the sale, CapStar Commercial Realty was managing the since 2011. The new owner has taken ownership, effective July 1st, 2023. The deal was brokered by CapStar's John Lin and Sophie Tsai.
The building is surrounded by many shopping centers, such as Springfield Mall, found on Franconia-Springfield Parkway. The office is one exit south from the beltway, close to public transportation, such as Springfield metro, and a bus line that passes many attractions in the area.
John Lin is the Principal Broker and CEO of CapStar, and has been working in commercial real estate since 1983. Lin also graduated from University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting.
Sophie Tsai also helped along with John Lin to broker this deal. Tsai joined CapStar as a property manager in 2012. Prior to her experience in real estate, Tsai also worked in the banking industry and has a Master of Science degree for business in finance.
