John P. Lin, founder of CapStar Commercial Realty. John has been in the commercial real estate industry since 1983. Graduated from the University of Maryland College Park and earned his mater degree from Johns Hopkins University, John’s educational background prepared him with financial accounting, insurance, security, restaurant and information technology as well as real estate and business acquisition.John believes honesty and integrity are important in the commercial real estate business and are two qualities he looks for in all his agents and staff members. John has received the 2006 Maryland Top 100 Minority Business Entrepreneurs and 2008 Top 100 Minority Business award. John has been a visiting professor at the University of Maryland Real Estate program and Chairman of Asian Real Estate Association of America, DC Chapter.
Jeff has worked in the commercial real estate industry since 2000, covering Maryland, Virginia and DC. He provides a systematic, strategic approach toward market and site development, representing property owners and tenants in retail, office and warehouse leasing and sales transactions. His extensive knowledge and experience adds tremendous value for his clients. Mike has been with CapStar ever since entering the Commercial Real profession in 2005. He holds an Associate Brokers license in Maryland along with Sales licenses in the District of Columbia. Mike specialty is the Office market in Metropolitan DC. With his Clients search and marketing savings in mind, he has developed a large ongoing current portfolio of personally previewed class A and B properties suitable for clients requiring over 3000 Square Feet of space. Mike has seen deals through to successful completion in all the major divisions of Commercial Real Estate. This has given him an unusually broad view and understanding of how market sectors interact. Mike’s business career includes over thirty years in business to business sales. He prides himself in his ability and experience in making deals come together through building connections and finding common ground for all parties in the transaction. Joined CapStar in 2011. She has focused on the leasing of retail and office space in DC Metro area, and has served as lead broker and negotiator on numerous transactions. Annie is also specialized in handling restaurant business acquisition and lease. Received a MS degree in Economics from University of Kentucky.
Luciano joined CapStar Commercial Realty in 2011. He is responsible for day-to-day administration of the client-based for lease portfolio, including lease abstracting, verifying compliance with leases, document review, tracking critical dates, analyzing, verifying and challenging accuracy of CAM charges, reconciliations and rental adjustments. He manages the lease database, tracks and resolves issues with landlords and tenants, provides reporting, and maintains working relationships with clients, landlords, tenants, and staff.
Prior to joining CapStar, Luciano was a long time entrepreneur in the real estate and food and beverage industry in the Washington area work with and for establishments. Luciano holds a BA in Business Administration from Wheeling Jesuit University, Wheeling, West Virginia and currently is a licensed real estate salesperson in Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia.

Alexander Hu is a sales and leasing associate at CapStar Commercial Realty Group. Hu comes to CapStar with a rich and solid background from the Kogod School of Business at American University. As an international business major, Hu is prepared to serve his clients from all over the world. Hu is a multi-lingual and cross-cultural business facilitator and broker specializing in retail and small business. Hu is a licensed real estate agent in Maryland and the District of Columbia and a member of CapStar’s Green Energy Solution Department.
Lee has a background from both the automotive and the food and beverage industry. Lee studied and had a major in Automotive Technology at Lincoln Technical Institute. Lee is part of Capstar’s Green Energy Solution Department and currently holds a real estate license in Maryland and District of Columbia.
Experienced in retail sales from restaurant to clothing, and internet marketing prior to entering into real estate industry. Major in Business Technology Administration at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. James is also the project coordinator for the new Green Energy Solution department at CapStar.

Graduate of University of Maryland, magna cum laude, with a B.S. in Accounting. She earned her CPA certificate and worked in public accounting for four years. Her experience includes working as the Controller of a local retail chain before leaving the workforce to raise her children. She has been with CapStar since 2005 as the Accountant. Her responsibilities include all accounting functions relating to property management and also the internal account manager of the corporate books.
Years of experience in Banking and Customer Relationship before joining CapStar in 2011. Sophie earned her M.S. in Business in Finance from University of Maryland. Currently Managing over 350,000SF of retail, industrial, commercial and residential properties throughout MD, VA and DC.
Archana has more than 8 year’s experience in accounting departments in public and private corporations, non-profit organization, and small to midsize business. Graduated from University of Delhi, New Delhi, India with Bachelor in Accounting.
Agnes graduated from Grove City College, of Grove City, PA, with a degree in Business Administration. She has 30 year experience in business administration at GE. She has been with CapStar since 1996.
